On April 12th, AMAS visited the Madre Maria Clara home for an enriching conversation with girls aged 8 to 22 about the role of women in Astronomy and the importance of women's presence in STEM careers (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics), especially in the African context.
AMAS's First Hackathon Was a True Success!

Over 3 and a half days (afternoons of the 14th, 15th, 16th and 17th), we experienced an intense journey of learning, dedication, and teamwork. The event ran smoothly, with exemplary levels of engagement, collaboration, and enthusiasm from all participants. It was an inspiring experience and a testament to the potential of regional talent.
